Third act conflict was so fucking stupid. I get that it was just an irrational decision but you could’ve just left without trying to break up. Just leave and heal or whatever and then come back. Also he was fine within two days???? That shit was rushed as hell. And the letter from that cheating bitch was TOO convenient at the end so everything could be happy. We really didn’t need that piece of closure from her
Writing in general was good. It felt like I was being mansplained to at some parts but makes sense bc Jay was clueless about Frankie’s accessibility needs. “I’ll try to be less ableist” was so cringy. No real person talks like that. Like a good part of the dialogue during the first quarter felt corny.
I liked that there was some actual plot movement bc of the Poddies and it wasn’t just vibes, like I thought it’d be once they got into a relationship (very quickly imo).
