My trips to Bourbon Canyon are always filled with sweet and spicy small town love, and I can't get enough of this series. Walker rose continues to deliver everything I love about reading romance.
Tenor and Ruby will give you all the feels and the tension will be building in you right along with their slow burn. Age gap is one of my favorite tropes when done right and Tenor and Ruby were done to perfection. Add in the boss employee factor and you have yourself an incredible dynamic for this unique couple.
Both of them have baggage from horrible previous relationships and their walls are up. When they start breaking through eachothers walls their fake dating scheme becomes very real. I loved that their connection was so genuine and honest. Tenor may have been the nerdy cowboy but he was also the sweetest man and just needed someone to love him the way he deserved, and our girl Ruby was just the one to do so. Ruby was a woman after my own heart. I absolutely loved that she was a book girlie!
I'm sad that we're so close to the end of this fantastic series, but I know I can count on Walker Rose to have something else coming our way to fall in love with.
