it wasn't my first time reading a book by this author (mom's favourite!), but i gotta say, i'm a bit disappointed. probably because i was expecting fiction and got a whole essay about marie curie lmao. still, i enjoyed it. i like the way rosa montero writes - very passionate and intimate. but i swear to god. if someone makes me read more essay-like books, i will fucking explode :)
