Okay, wow. I don’t even really know where to begin. This is, in my opinion, by far the best book in the entire series. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it very much so kept me on my toes just from the first chapter. It was action-packed, it was dramatic, it was powerful, and there were many twists that I couldn’t anticipate: Clarisse and Silena, Rachel Dare, Luke and Kronos, Hades and Poseidon, Ethan, Lady Hestia, the Prophecy, Luke’s mother, the ending! There was less predictable turns and more left turns out of nowhere in this book than the rest of the series combined and that screams both progress and power on the author’s part. I’m still kind of reeling over this entire book to be honest, what a wild ride. It was so worth it to read the rest of the books, if only to get to this one [I loved the other four also though not going to lie]. This is a five out of five, it earns an honorary spot on the ‘top reads’ shelf.
