This book follows multiple POVs. The main ones being Nick and his two friends, Alexis and Ruby, who are on the Search and Rescue team. There is a murder close to Nicks home and the police think he is the culprit due to his love of knives and violent video games. The friends work to prove his innocence.
Conceptually, this book is great. The execution fell a little flat for me. I loved the short chapters and the twists. However, the amount of POVs for such a short book were just too much. Not to mention the ending. Like WTF?! That's it?? I literally threw the book. No joke. Some editing and adding to the storyline and this could have been amazing.
