I liked this book! I wasn’t as captivated by it like many others; maybe because I’ve read a lot of WWII historical fiction and WWII memoirs as a teenager that I’ve become somewhat expectant of how the story ends?? Regardless, the plot is beautiful and the character progression is beautifully illustrated. This book was good but wasn’t great, in my opinion.

Honestly, I’ve been reading so much dystopian, fantasy, and thrillers lately that I’m probably stuck in that mentality. Oh well!
