2.0

This the 3rd or 4th Penelope Douglas book that I have read and I think that I need to finally accept that her books are not for me.
The FMC was too obsessed with Michael, to her own detriment. She allowed her feelings for him to defy common sense. For instance she is unable to get a hold of her mother, her house burns down and when she has an opportunity to get some answers or support she chooses to instead be seduced by Michael.
She follows him around like a love sick puppy dog. It’s pathetic. I do not like any of the characters. And of course I love all the romantic gestures/moments. I find nothing romantic about the way he treats her or speaks to her
