I'm a big fan of the Monkey Island series and when I first saw the Kickstarter for this book, I knew I had to back it. I had already read a bit about the team behind the Monkey Island games in The Art of Point and Click Adventure Games by Bitmap Books, but this was on another level. I loved every bit of information and every anecdote that was presented in the book. Going through the games chronologically and providing the reviews for the games at the time was really enlightening.
For a series of games that are new universally seen as timeless masterpieces, which at the time might have been well received but didn't always reflect in sales is baffling. I guess like wine, some games mature with age.
Once I get through the Broken Sword games I am definitely revisiting the Monkey Island series (again)
