friends to lovers is not my favorite trope. i'm sorry, i really don't vibe with it. so i guess it's no surprise that i didn't find "kane" particularly entertaining. i already knew what i was getting into, of course, and still i decided to read this in the off-chance that i'd end up really liking it. well, that didn't happen. of course.
as always, how short these books are is both a blessing and a curse. that these stories are not long or hard to follow surely helps when i'm not particularly interested in them to begin with, so whatever. what i'm trying to say is that, despite everything, reading "kane" wasn't a chore.
i can't believe how fast i read what i had left of this series, but i'm so happy that i'm almost done with it! finally! i don't think i'm getting rid of sawyer bennett anytime soon though, considering that i'm really curious to find out more about baden and what awaits him in pittsburgh.
anyway, i'll take things one step at a timeāmuch like always.
