A fun jaunt of a book. Around the World in Eighty Days pictures the voyage of Phileas Fogg and his servant Passepartout as they try to accomplish the impossible task of circumnavigating the world within 80 days.
The contrast between Fogg's stoic nature and the outlandishness of their travel was a fun dynamic. I also enjoyed the humour and passion that Passepartout's character exuded. Despite knowing how the novel was going to end, the final chapters to see whether or not Fogg and his companions would make it back to London in time still felt tense (in a great way).
