Love Next Door
by Helena Hunting
Reviewed for A Book Nerd, a Bookseller and a Bibliophile
Something a little different from Helena Hunting. I am a huge fan of her books and her usual rom-com style. This book has less of the comedy but the romance is spot-on. It took me a little bit to get into (slow start) but once it picked up, I couldn't put it down.
Dillion and Van start off butting-heads. But they soon learn that they have more in common than they realize. Their biggest similarity is their love for Grammy Bee and her cottage. Van is dealing with loss in many different forms throughout this story. Dillion is taking on a lot to help support her family. They are both able to help the other in all the right ways.
This is one you have to read for yourself. And I really hope there are more stories coming set in Pearl Lake!
