Quick review since I’m jumping right in to book two. It’s a love triangle between a girl and two brothers. She was raised a pirate all her life and discovers an under water world full of ocean people and witches. Her dad is the king and one of the brothers was raised as the kings ward after she went missing as an infant. Arranged marriage with the sweet brother but has a weird electric connection to the dark and broody brother. It definitely gives off Elena, Stefan and Damon vibes. It’s YA and she’s 17 and actually acts like a 17 year old. All there is in terms of spice is some kissing and I feel like it isn’t going to go much further than that, which I’m okay with. Just FYI to fellow readers that are hoping for smut, it probably isn’t going to happen.

Overall I loved the book and will be recommending it to my 13 yo niece that loves to read. It’s perfect for her.
