Master of Formalities by Scott Meyer

4.0

I had no idea what to expect from this book, but enjoyed it. I've read other Scott Meyer books (The Wizard series) and REALLY like those and this was in the same style and, while in a similar theme, a complete departure. Many asides, oddball puns, and quirky humor is included, as his style. I feel like reading his books is often like watching an episode of Laugh In.

This is mostly a comedy with a mystery thrown in. No Pulitzer to be awarded here, but if you've not heard of Meyer, this is a good standalone book to feel out his style.
