How to Be an Antiracist
by Ibram X. Kendi
I am finding it difficult to do this book justice. Kendi breaks open his personal story of becoming an anti-racist allowing the reader into his world and growth process. For myself, this read almost like a novel and at the end of each chapter I just wanted to keep going. Kendi's storytelling is dynamic and engaging while his exposition is clean and precise.
Kendi challenged many of my deepest assumptions about anti-racism work and now I am working to identify and change racist power and policy in the spheres I live in, day in and day out.
