The Noel Letters by Richard Paul Evans
5.0
After many years, Noel Book travels back to her childhood town in Salt Lake City to see her estranged father per his dying wish. Wanting to get back to her editing career in NYC, she believed this would be a short visit, but it turns into more than she ever imagined. As Christmas approaches, Noel discovers truths about her childhood and learns how to let love in and right her wrongs.
Ugh this book had me ugly crying. It’s a story about heartache, healing, forgiveness, patience, and love. Especially a father’s endless love for his daughter.
It also takes place around the holidays and mostly in a bookstore - two of my favorite things.
