Glad I revisited this after thirteen years cuz a seventh grader can’t fully appreciate the wicked genius of HG Wells. Or at least I couldn’t.
It’s weird cuz it’s my favorite Wells story but so far it’s my least favorite of his books. Time Machine and Dr. Moreau were more fun to read. I found myself phasing out during some passages here. And yet... it still rules.
