I'm disappointed in this one. The plot was pretty pointless in this one. It mostly focused on the back and forth between the main characters and some spice, but even that didn't really go anywhere in this book. I didn't hate the book since I got more context. However, it just felt unnecessary. I'll keep reading and hoping some actual productive plot happens in the next one, but if not, I'll abandon the series.
