appreciated the translator’s notes at the end for thorough references in contextualizing the author and work. remarkable how familiar and current it feels, even though the book was originally published almost 20 years ago from a very taiwanese perspective. 

 

explores concepts like gender and sexuality as well as the relationship between humans and technology.
