This book is not about using the Tarot as a tool of divination, but instead is about using it as a tool of introspection. Crispin encourages the reader to look at the cards and use the archetypal drawings to help you better understand yourself or your situation. All of this was what I was looking for, so I enjoyed the book (though was a little long on her interpretation of each card). And I did like that she accompanied each card with a work of art that she felt was representative of that card.

If you're looking for an "oracle" interpretation, this probably isn't the book for you. But if you are interested in using Tarot as a way of enhancing your creative life then it's worth a read.
