And They Were Roommates by Page Powars
4.0

I really wanted to absolutely love this, but i felt myself being a little disappointed throughout the book to be honest. I guess it's mainly simply because i expected more, which is my bad I guess. I would say it's maybe between a 3.5 and 4 for me? I dunno, I'm not usually this conflicted about what to rate a book.
But yeah so I loved the friend group and their dynamics. Very lovely read every time the chapter centred around them. As for the protagonist, I oftentimes felt confused by how often he had a complete 180 shift in his thought process and feelings. Which just confused me so much, but maybe that's because I just cannot relate personally. The love interest wasn't too bad, but I couldn't connect with him much, because of how he was introduced. But maybe that was the point; to see him as the protagonist remembered him. If so, then good job. The ending was lovely to me though. I love how it came full circle, and I audibly cheered reading the last pages. Overall not a bad read, even though I did feel a little let down in the end.
