The Field Guide to the North American Teenager by Ben Philippe
3.0
3.5 stars. The writing was fab; cutting and such exacting word choice! Norris was incredibly snarky and judgmental but because he’s obviously a teenager, it’s not as off putting as it could be. He’s still likable although my favorite character was Maddie. I wish we got to know the other characters a little more, esp Norris’ relationship with his mom Judith, but I did love the progression of Norris’ friendship with Maddie and Liam in particular. The end kind of surprised me but it works for the book itself.
