Return to the Garden by Shakti Gawain

Immediately dives deep into the male/female gender binary and stays there. The autobiographical section starts with judgment against people who use anesthesia during birth ("the babies were born drugged as well") whereas the author's mother "being the pioneer and free-thinker that she is" chose the clearly preferable "natural" childbirth. Gawain describes the events of her own life through rose-tinted glasses to present herself in the best light possible. Throughout the book she uses so many words to say very little.
