Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.

Shitty writing quality. Very short sentences. If I had to read “my sister, Camille” or “my brother in law, Bob” or “my daughter, Cara” one more time I was going to lose it. We know who these people are, you don’t need to keep telling us who they are when we’re almost halfway through the book. I skimmed ahead and noticed he still did that IN THE LAST CHAPTER. Ugh. Also the main character is a prosecutor who had this major rape case he was covering which honestly I don’t think had anything to do with the plot
