This was one of my favorite books when I was a teenager. It wasn't until recently that I realized that I never went back to finish the series. Reading this again was like revisiting old friends. This novel was one of the reasons I fell in love with the genre.
Snyder manages to build a rich and unique world without over encumbering you with details. These characters and this story have stuck with me for over 10 years and I am excited to follow through with finishing the series this time around.
