I am absolutely blown away by Catherine Cowles yet again! Her writing style is the perfect mashup of romance and suspense that keeps me on edge the whole time, especially when I'm trying to guess whodunnit.
All the Missing Pieces is my first book & first favorite of 2025! Ridley was so tenacious and free spirited and she was the perfect match for Colt. He was so protective and commanding, but always coming from a place of love even though it comes across overbearing many times. I sincerely loved the amount of animals in the book, pets for everybody!
This story was so incredibly emotional yet balanced with enough fun little moments between all the characters. I couldn’t have imagined a better ending for this book and how perfectly everything wrapped up!
I love this book so dang much and I’ll never stop shouting praise for it!
Thank you to Catherine Cowles, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and NetGalley for sending me an early copy!
Graphic: Kidnapping
Moderate: Death
Minor: Gun violence
The book follows the story of a podcaster trying to find her sister's kidnapper who has also hurt other young women as well. She spends a good portion of the book with the first victim, who now suffers agoraphobia after her trauma. The death isn't explicitly described, but mentioned quite often through the lens of grief, especially with the main character referencing her twin sister & their family's reactions afterwards. The gun violence occurs in a single scene at the end of the book but nobody is actually harmed by the gun violence.
