I'm surprised how much I liked this. This was a fast pace book for sure but it didn't feel rushed. I loved the dialogue and character growth. I love how the MC openly navigates being a woman in her world and holding on to what matters to her and the love interest actually respects that completely. It's just not something I see a lot in fantasy, especially not with romance involved too.
