One thing I can say is that Four is a much more interesting protagonist than I think Tris ever was.
This novella is formulated really well. I enjoyed that it was broken up into segments throughout Tobias's life and how he went from Abnegation to Dauntless, from a "Stiff" to someone that other initiates looked up to and emulated - Tris included.
When I reached the end, I felt a wave of disappointment. I realize that the "after Tris" story is summarized at the end of Allegiant, but I had hoped for a little more expounding on that timeline.
This was enjoyable to read, but left me with questions I didn't even know I had after finishing the Divergent series (which I've read more than once). I would love for the author to one day write an extension with Tobias's perspective for each of the books--and after...
