This book needed to be better edited. The repeating of how people felt and repeating of story lines made it felt like I read certain paragraphs already. The storyline was fine, it just needed to be polished better. I was also upset about

the constant upbringing of Rune’s period for like 5 pages. I’m all for normalizing menstruation but you don’t have to keep mentioning it.

I thought that was unnecessary and it didn’t really add to the story, I almost DNFed it for that reason. I really wanted to like this book based on other reviews I’ve seen.
