A Gentlewoman Scholar by Sarah M. Eden, Nancy Campbell Allen, Michele Paige Holmes

4.0

Beautiful reads, each one.

I would have read each one of these books as a full length novel if that had been the case. This was filled with fighting the odds, men who knew themselves and were not afraid of intelligent women (which for that time period was not something looked upon as favorable for a lady), and women finding love amidst their hopes and dreams.

I felt very I tune with these reads. Each one showed me that having a dream is not a bad or wrong thing to have. Each story gave me more courage to move forward in my own hopes and dreams, even if it isn't exactly the same as these women in this collection. I can still be a mother as well as xyz. I hope as one reads this collection of beautiful short stories, you are able to find that same strength and courage to dream.
