Things I liked:
-bookish protagonist
-sweet love interest
-fast to read
-cute romance and I believed it
-baking descriptions
-the two protagonists actually had parents who were part of the story???
Things I didn’t like:
-the whole fake dating premise started so suddenly? I feel like I needed a couple more conversations between them to consolidate why they were doing it because it started so early on and wasn’t organised like it normally is?
-rushed ending
-some of the writing was a bit clunky
-wasn’t very diverse
-she THREW BOOKS IN A RIVER. Nope. Blasphemy.
-Becca’s friendships (and Brett’s for that matter) weren’t very developed
