This started off okay but fell kind of flat around 65%. It lacked a lot of depth and substance. Things happened without anything to back it up. Can’t help but feel like Cress should’ve been with daddy Zeus. The term of endearment ‘babe’ didn’t help me like King from the start. Some of the dialogue was a bit cringy at times. I kept waiting for the school to find out and it was kind of refreshing that the plot wasn’t hinged on a big blow out. William should’ve been a bigger villain with more depth. I kept waiting for a PI to be taking photos of them as the big windows in the cabin were mentioned several times. Cress even things he would hire a PI to take pics of them. Both he and Lysander seemed to just fade into the background and be forgotten for large chunks of the story. Nice that this was Canadian based though.
