This was my first Agatha Christie book and I feel like I expected... more?
I had to push myself to continue reading until I reached about half of the book. To me, it started being painfully slow, but after the
first
murder things started to pick up a faster pace.
I started to enjoy it towards the end, where the details start being revealed.
I think it can still be a good read for whoever enjoys mystery and murder stories, just know that it'll start slow! Plus, getting to remember all of the names at the beginning was really confusing.
I wouldn't say I enjoyed it 100% but some chapters did keep me entertained.
If someone asked me if I liked it I would say "meeeh" or "it was alright" meaning that I wouldn't re-read it.
