Wallflower in Bloom by Claire Cook
5.0
If you're looking for a layered piece of philosophic artistry...keep looking. It's not here. But, what Cook gives us is equally rewarding. It's an extremely relatable story of searching for ourselves and taking chances. Oh, and a cute love story, too! Definitely a perfect summer read, as are all of hers. Oh, and I've never watched "Stars" but didn't feel that was a main theme. I am, however, a huge "Dead Head" so, just like Deirdre's parents, I have "Truckin" on 4th play repeat, as well. :)
