Sped right through this and that's to it's credit, a lean, well-plotted sci-fi novel I read in part because of the autism coding, right down to the author getting diagnosed after the books struck a chord with my community. I thought the narrative voice could be even stronger but the delineation between human and robot is solid and it ends just right for a story really about slavery and free will, as is often the case with books about robots finding self-determination. This one would also just rather be watching TV than doing anything else, and I can relate.
Graphic: Violence
Moderate: Slavery
