Moon Over Soho was a nice follow up to the Rivers of London book, and in a similar manner, was full of pop culture references, London references, and more references to roads that I will never be able to completely picture in my mind's eye.

I really enjoyed the more music focused aspect of this book, especially as I felt it captured more about both Peter and his parents, specifically their interests and his dad's career. The weaving of how magic works in this story felt as though it fit nicely as well.

But some of the magic introduced in the book seemed like the kind a young teenager would dream up as either a comedy effect or a horror fit to scare the rest of his male classmates, I wont say what but you'll know it when you hit the end of the book.
