X Marks The Spot: An Anthology Of Nonbinary Experiences by Theo Hendrie

4.0

As with most anthologies or collection of essays, I did enjoy some contributions more than others, but overall I really loved this book and would for sure recommend it!!

X Marks the Spot is an independently published non-fiction anthology containing a variety of essays, poems and art pieces created by a non-binary writers/artists surrounding the topic of gender and a ton of different experiences relating to it. The contributors come from a pretty diverse range of backgrounds, and they all bring very different nonbinary experience to the table.

Additionally, this book was definitely written for nonbinary people ~ it really is not “sanitized” for a cisgender audience the way that a lot of trans media often is, which is amazing! (I would definitely still encourage you to read this if you’re
cis, though, my point is just that I love that this was specifically created for nonbinary people!)
