Ao Haru Ride, Vol. 13 by Io Sakisaka

4.0

It came back full circle but with everyone coming out for the better! I am so happy for every single one of these characters! I could not put this series down and I feel like I finished it too fast but don't worry, this will definitely not be the last time I read this series!

I won't go too deep into this review because I am at work and I'm definitely not at my quota for the day but I'll just say this: The message of the series hits me really hard. It's about changing for the better, doing what's right when it hurts, and loving everyone around you as hard as you can. It's a beautiful coming-of-age story about two people who liked each other and learned to love better to be together. I am just...wow.

Of course there are some things that I wish were dived in a bit more ( TOUMA!!! T-T ) but i understand why there weren't. They aren't the main part of the story. Just these two teenagers. These two messy, flawed, complex, precious, idiotic, intelligent teenagers and their ups, downs, and love for each other and everyone around them. Honestly I'm just going to say it: This is probably my favorite slice-of-life manga and it ....surpasses Daytime Shooting Star! AHHHHHH that physically hurt me!! but it's true!! akwenfawenfeif well i guess i need to watch the anime now...soooo...peace!!
