Very interesting story with memorable characters and an easy-to-picture world. I personally have some gripes with the inaccurate and modern view in historical clothes (mainly her corset), but other than that it was a very interesting read. The relationship reminds me a bit of Bridgerton S2 if you like the slow burn.
Graphic: Sexism
Moderate: Death, Toxic relationship, Violence, Murder, and Alcohol
Minor: Child abuse, Child death, Gun violence, Miscarriage, Blood, Death of parent, Pregnancy, and Fire/Fire injury
Takes place in the old west, where there’s bars, saloons, guns, and no rules
