this book is strange? i’m guilty of not reading the summary or reviews before checking this one out. it’s definitely readable but, i struggled at some parts.

couldn’t get past the main character bashing on “the crying man book” that is 720 pages about a “sad man who finishes the book sad and doesn’t learn anything” . girl i know you’re talking about a little life and don’t u come for that masterpiece.
beyond this, it really irked me how she’s a “bookworm” but like, barely reads? she spends all her time plotting how to kill her husband and . being fucking unbearable.

and that ending. well. i wasn’t expecting that. i was gonna give this a book a 3 star and then that shit happened and. girl what in the hell. but yeah do yourself a favor, big big pass on this book lol.

i will say that i didn’t find the audiobook very accessible. my hearing is bad but i can still hear enough but the volume changes were too frequent and at times i literally could not understand the narrator at all. which isn’t a comment on the books content itself just for anyone checking out the audiobook! that needs to be worked on.
