The beginning of the book felt slow compared to the middle/end, with the end feeling a bit rushed. While some books put a bit too much depth in certain areas, there could've been more depth after the twist. I also had a few issues with how the Vampyres vs Weres were presented. Weres were given basically godmode but the Vampyres very little? And some of the Vampyre lore was missing which could have brought the book together a bit better.
