Intense is one way to describe this book. The main character is more of an antihero, and I found her hard to like and not totally believable. But the plot drives this forward and I had to know how it ends. The writing is beautiful, the relationships depicted are heart aching, and the plight of the world feels too too real (because it is). Overall enjoyed this one.
