Kissing Girls on Shabbat: A Memoir
by Sara Glass
dark

This is a harrowing and yet beautifully written book about a young woman pushing thru her extremely religious upbringing, marriages, birth and raising of her children, and multiple divorces. I thought it was really well written and was descriptive enough for someone who doesn’t understand the intricacies of Judaism to understand.
In the end, I see this as an inspirational story, but it is heartbreaking to know that these events are true and have happened so recently and so close to home (freaking New Jersey???).
a very good listen that has a happy ending!!!
