This book had me sobbing at the end. What a marvelous new perspective on Norse mythology with one of the more mysterious characters. I'm familiar with Norse mythology so I knew how the story would go, but the way we got there was beautiful. I loved having the main perspective of Angrboda as an outsider to the Æsir and Vanir, placing her as protagonist in relation to the myths where the gods are typically the protagonists. The story is highly emotional, evocative, and well worth the time. It's on my list of all time favorites.
