Teeth in the Mist by Dawn Kurtagich

Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.
The characters in the Roan story I got through were unlikeable and/or rude. Zoey is a stupid teenager, plus the fact that her "payment" for magic is self harm is a turn-off. The physical styling of the book is not endearing (who wants a page of backwards text?), and so far there's not a lot of things about Mill House that make sense.
