Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell

4.0

I was reading for the Barcelona chapters primarily, but I'm glad to have read about the Huesca front and about the internecine intrigue. If even half of what he claims is true, then it condemns the Communist Party of this time, who seem to have handed the Fascists an easier victory thanks to their anti-revolutionary actions. Of course, it was also a pleasure to read Orwell's clear, thorough prose. A decent person indeed.
