This was a welcome little interlude after the war-heavy events of the first three books. It doesn't really add much to the plot — the main conflict seems to be that Feyre and Rhys can't decide what to gift each other for Winter Solstice, and Nesta's PTSD after the war with Hybern is briefly touched upon . I enjoyed getting to know the characters in more detail, through their interactions with each other in times of peace, although I wish Feyre would stop meddling in her sisters' affairs and genuinely apologise for hurting people around her. But this book was a nice epilogue to her character arc.
