This was a welcome little interlude after the war-heavy events of the first three books. It doesn't really add much to the plot — the main conflict seems to be that Feyre and Rhys can't decide what to gift each other for Winter Solstice
, and Nesta's PTSD after the war with Hybern is briefly touched upon
. I enjoyed getting to know the characters in more detail, through their interactions with each other in times of peace, although I wish Feyre would stop meddling in her sisters' affairs and genuinely apologise for hurting people around her. But this book was a nice epilogue to her character arc.
