The Whisper Man by Alex North
4.0
Creepy is what comes to mind immediately when I think about writing a review for The Whisper Man. It's truly creepy, one that raises the hairs on the back of your neck & perhaps not a great choice for reading alone at night.
Twenty years ago, a serial killer dubbed the Whisper Man was abducting & murdering young boys. Now it's happened again - but the original killer was arrested & has been in jail for the last two decades.
Perspectives change between two police officers, the killer, a father who has recently moved to town with his young son & the son - which has the effect of making you want to read chapter after chapter, as fast as you can.
There were surprises & twists that related directly to the crime & some that did not. Truths are revealed slowly, so you're always wanting to know more until the very end. If you're looking for a good creepy thriller - this one's for you!

Obvious trigger warning for violence against children, but for the most part it’s not graphic, only the less intense moments are more descriptive.
