My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell

This book is incredible. It blew my expectations out of the water; truthfully, I thought that this would be extremely overhyped, I found the writing to be quite dull in the beginning. Vanessa got on my nerves for the first few chapters. I then realized that the point of her character was such, and added even more to her very disturbing story. Please read this book if you want more education on inappropriate relationships between students/teachers and traumas relating to those scenarios, I found this very insightful. If Russell writes anything else in the future I will be reading!
