Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

4.0

This was my first reread of a book in years because I find it quite difficult to reread a story that isn’t a childhood read. Upon rereading I understand why I loved this book so much. Olly and Maddy’s relationship was so cute and I loved seeing the progression of their relationship and getting an insight into what life can be like with a life threatening disease. However, I didn’t enjoy that an underrepresented disease ended up as just a plot twist. Finding out that the mom faked it the whole time annoyed me and I thought it would’ve been better to show ways to live with something like that, instead of it just not being real. But overall, still enjoyed and would read again.
