Loved this one as much as the first book in the series (which I also reviewed so won’t repeat here). This one adds the exploration of guilt tied to justice…what is your responsibility when you recognize an injustice and also have power to improve or resolve it? What is the cost of guilt, and where does it come from? What happens when you recognize injustice but those closest to you do not? What are you willing to actually sacrifice to correct an injustice? How do you deal with a selfish mother who used you? Do you sacrifice parts of yourself to maintain a romantic relationship? All of this is explored here. Highly recommended.
